These little people designs had their start as Sally Davies' fine art paintings, which have been featured on HBO's Sex and the City (The Cheating Curve episode).
Sally's "Lucky Chairs" have been on the Oprah Winfrey Show and also on Carrie Bradshaw's desk on Sex and the City. Her art can be found in the collections of Sarah Jessica Parker, Debra Winger, Darren Star, Michael Patrick King Joel Schumacker and many more.
Sally uses 100% ringspun, combed cotton interlock which is both soft and thick. Her goal was to create a line of children's fashions that didn't conform to the usual pink and blue routine.
Sally is, of course, based in New York City, New York.
